Pavilions at Lenswood - @pavilionsatlenswood
Pavilions at Lenswood is one of our favourite accommodations within South Australia. Located in Lenswood (30min from Adelaide), this beautiful property is surrounded by stunning views showcasing some of the best Adelaide hills local vineyards and apple orchards. The property has 2 pavilions (Ruhe and Merak), located relatively close to each other although feeling far enough apart with full privacy. Both the buildings themselves look architecturally amazing from the outside whist within being extremely practical. Ruhe was the pavilion we stayed in, it features an outdoor spa on the deck over looking trees and vineyards, this addition made it perfect for our stay as it was very cold at night and early in the morning. Inside Ruhe contained everything you would need for a night away, including a complimentary care package containing local foods, wine, snacks and toiletries. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking appliances, utensils and tableware.
During our stay in Ruhe we spent our time enjoying the open indoor fireplace whist watching the complimentary Netflix whilst sipping a glass of red. For dinner we cooked pizza which went so well with this combo, and made for such a romantic evening. Our highlight would have to have been the free standing bath tub, and the outdoor spa, both these made our stay unique to any other.
We would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a romantic night away or just to simply enjoy the Adelaide Hills. With so many beautiful walking tracks and wineries close by it’s perfect for any season. We cant wait to return and spend another weekend at the pavilions.
