Experience a peaceful countryside escape in a stylish one bedroom couple’s cottage set amongst the lush, vibrant and tropical 6.5 acre property.
Into the Woods is a one bedroom cottage located in Palmwoods, about a 20 minute drive from the Sunshine Coast. The accomodation sits on a massive 6.5 acres of farm land, where it was originally used as a pineapple farm. This stylish cottage contains a fully fledged kitchen including gas cooker, oven, a Nespresso machine and a four person dining area. On our stay the beautiful hosts also offered a “starter pack” for breakfast which includes tea, coffee, milk, local honey, butter, eggs, sugar, home-made jam and a seasonal treat. The main living area includes a linen sofa couch, access to Netflix. The bedroom has a spacious four poster canopy bed with large glass windows looking into the vibrant outdoor gardens. The bathroom which is connected to the bedroom contains a full size mirror, river stone basin and shower.
Outdoors you will find two outdoor seating areas the first one features a fireplace, lounge chairs and a large hand-made outdoor bath tub. The second outdoor seating area overlooks the dam and includes a wood-fired pizza oven and gas Weber BBQ.
Throughout our stay we would find ourselves enjoying a morning walk exploring the lush green property before having our morning breakfast. We took a short drive to Noosa, where we spent the day beach hopping, shopping and doing some incredible coastal hikes. Later on coming back to run a refreshing outdoor bath and lighting the nearby fire, it felt like we were in a tropical paradise. Later on we wandered down to the dam, to cook a pizza in the pizza oven. Watching the sunset over the dam with a wine in hand. As the sunset the stars came to life and we had the most incredible view as the open fresh air fills your lungs.
We absolutely loved our stay here and we can not recommend this place enough. If you ever find yourself in the Sunshine Coast we definitely recommend booking a stay here. Thanks so much to the beautiful hosts for having us stay.
