The ultimate romantic and luxury couples retreat set on the picturesque Kangaroo Island.
This gorgeous secluded retreat is set on 80 hectares of beautiful natural surroundings, with stunning ocean and native bush land views. Just a 7 min drive from the gorgeous Stokes Bay, immersed in utter isolation, oh aside from the abundance of native Australian wildlife grazing it’s surroundings. The building itself contains three rooms all of which are finished with our all time favourite natural and contemporary hues. The main entrance leads to the spacious living area and kitchen which features a large glass window and seating area over looking the lush fields. The living area and bedroom is divided by a beautiful stone feature wall with an inbuilt double-sided fireplace. Following along from the bedroom is our favourite room, the bathroom, which features the stunning inbuilt sauna and free standing bath also accompanied by a number of large windows overlooking those gorgeous views.
During our stay here we loved spending our time out on the deck watching the locals (kangaroo’s) enjoying their morning grazing the fields. In the later evenings we would often find ourselves in the spa enjoying the locally sourced cheese board and sparkling wine whilst the sun would slowly drift below the horizon. More things we loved doing included, reading a book in the large open window or slow yoga on the deck. We found this place to be perfect for a couples relaxing getaway looking to spoil themselves in pure luxury.
We fell in love with the place from the moment we set eyes on it, we will definitely be returning the next time we are on KI.
