Are you an ocean lover? or like relaxing by the beach? or maybe waking up to the fresh salty air and an ocean view with a coffee in hand? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then The Pines at Maslin Beach is perfect for you. The Pines is situated just a 5 minute walk from Maslins Beach, where this beautiful 3 bedroom beach house features a huge balcony offering some of the best sea views, a large open kitchen/lounge area and massive grassed back yard.
We were in desperate need of a seaside holiday so this was the perfect place for us. When we walked inside this beautiful home, we were in awe. The beach/vintage vibes mixed with the natural tones of the decorative pieces worked so well for this place. We wish we had the chance to stay a whole week - it instantly felt like home!
We spent our afternoon relaxing and unwinding, with a book and wine on the deck taking in all of the beautiful views. Later that afternoon we wandered down to the beach to catch the sunset, arriving back to the house shortly after to cook a big home cooked dinner in the amazing fully equipped kitchen.
The following day we decided to head to Silver Sands (a drive on beach) where we could set up Marla to enjoy some fish and chips for lunch. However if this isn’t your thing and you are looking for a place to eat it's only a 5 minute drive to Aldinga where there are loads of beautiful cafes. Furthermore, McLaren vale is just a short 10 minute drive where you will find some amazing local wineries. Down the Rabbit Hole is our favourite, so we couldn’t help but make a stop to pick up a couple bottles of wine.
We honestly can't recommend The Pines - Maslin Beach enough it’s perfect if you're looking to base yourself within this area, or even just looking for a seaside getaway! We felt so at home, and this home provides everything we needed for our weekend away.
