Do you love camping?
So do we!!! This Eco tent part of the Flinders Bush Retreat is perfect for you! it's camping in comfort and style. The large eco ten is designed for two, being complete with steel frames and insulated canvas to protect from the weather. The tent also includes a deck with a bbq and outdoor furniture, a bathroom with a eco toilet, shower and solar hot water! Once you get into the bed and settle in for the night it won't even feel like your camping, with a queen size framed bed making it perfect for a comfortable sleep under the stars.
This eco tent is situated on 11,000 acres of Flinders Ranges farm land, all for you to explore. The property has a number of hiking tracks/4WD tracks to explore, plus there is tons of wildlife ranging from birds to kangaroos, emus, sheep and many more all to add to the experience!
The property itself is situated not far from the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park, where before we arrived at our accommodation we couldn’t help but to explore the natural wonders of the national park. As we pull up to the Eco tent we were so surprised how secluded we were, it was just us, the tent and mountains! it was PERFECT. We enjoyed some cheese and champagne on the deck, whilst admiring the wild life. We watched the sun set over the rangers which turn a bright orange colour as the sunsets over them. We utilised the fire pit and snuggled up around it for the night. We woke up early for a sunset hike up the mountain, as we approach the top the sun was rising over the distant mountains which looked so beautiful. We had a coffee at the top where we were joined by a herd of mountain goats! our entire experience here really was something else!!!
The Eco tent would be perfect for you if you are a nature lover who appreciates scenery. Its full of peacefulness and privacy, such a romantic place for couples.
Please take note the Eco tent is fairly secluded, there is no electricity where home appliances can not be plugged in. There is a fridge to chill food and a small kitchenette with utensils. We do strongly recommend bringing food to last your stay as it is a bit of a drive to the nearest shops and you don’t want to have to keep leaving the breathtaking views. The roads that lead up to the tent are primarily dirt so make sure you have a suitable car for the drive!
